Welcome!
Thanks for visiting North Star Energy Services! Headquartered in Apollo Beach, FL, USA, we manufacture
portable solar electric energy systems as alternatives to standard petroleum powered generators. Our solar generators
provide on-the-go power that is renewable, clean, quiet, and environmentally friendly. From 1,000 watts to 5,500 watts,
and cart or trailer based, we have a system that can handle routine power needs, or we can customize a system for your specific energy requirements.
High Quality Power When and Where You Need It
With North Star Energy Systems products, you can have power when you need it, and where you need it.
Typical applications of our products include:
- Back up and emergency portable power systems for homes and small businesses during electric grid disruptions
- Auxiliary or main source power for recreational vehicles
- Renewable and portable power for construction and building trades
- Auxiliary or main source power for camps, cabins, farms, ranches, remote buildings where grid distribution is not practical

North Star Energy Announcement: SP Series Redesign
22 January 2007 We have completed the redesign our SP Professional Series trailer-mounted solar generators, and we have new photos ready in the products section (for the SP3600T currently)!
We are excited about the redesign as it brings some new and intersting product features to the market. These include an adjustable tilt for the solar
panels, piston-driven top for ease of opening, a rear panel that is removeable for ease of battery maintenance, and new optional features such as a storage
shelf or a spare tire cover .
We are also offering upgrades such as custom colors, aluminum diamond plate protection for the front panel of the trailer enclousure,
and aluminum corner brackets for increased impact resistance.

SP Series Test Data
In 2007, we collected an entire year's worth of charging data from the SP3600T. In August we generated an impressive 110.2 kWh in 10 days of charging. That is an average of 11 kWh per day! SP3600T test data

The first redesigned 3,600 watt trailer-based unit in the SP line is now operational and generating power! View photos

East Amwell, NJ: Inside the Solar Hydrogen House: No More Power Bills -- Ever. Mike Strizki has not paid an electric, oil or gas bill — nor has he spent a nickel to fill up his Mercury Sable —
in nearly two years. Instead, the 51-year-old civil engineer makes all the fuel he needs using a system he built in the capacious garage of his home,
which employs photovoltaic (PV) panels to turn sunlight into electricity that is harnessed in turn to extract hydrogen from tap water. (From Scientific American)

Report suggests renewables can meet half of global energy. Renewable energy and energy efficiency can meet half of the world's energy needs by 2050, but time is
running out, warn the European Renewable Energy Council and Greenpeace. (From Refous.com)
