Payment Policy and Terms

The payment policy and terms listed below pertain to solar-powered generator products and accessories sold by North Star Energy Services, Inc., 623 MiraBay Blvd, Apollo Beach, FL, USA. This policy does not cover North Star Energy Services products you purchase from an authorized North Star Energy Services dealer or any other source. If you purchased our products from another merchant, please contact them regarding their payment policy and terms.

Ordering Methods

You can place orders by phone or online.

Methods of Payment

We accept personal, corporate, and certified checks, money orders, and debit and credit card payment through PayPal. When paying by check or money order, the order will be processed and shipped after receipt and clearance of the funds. Checks and money orders must be made payable to: North Star Energy Services, Inc.

When paying by debit or credit card, we use PayPal email invoicing. We prepare and send to you an invoice via email that allows you to pay with your debit or credit card with PayPal's sercure payment processing. Visit PayPal for details.

Payment Terms and Schedules
Orders Originating from the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Canada

For products that are normally in stock or that we manufacture on a regular basis, payment is required in full prior to packaging of the products for shipment. When shopping online in our eStore, payment is due in full when the order is placed, of which 20% is considered a non-refundable deposit.

International Orders

Orders for in-stock products or those that we regularly manufacture originating from outside the above areas require a 20% non-refundable deposit when the order is made. The balance is due prior to shipping the product and the funds must be available in our account. When shopping online in our eStore, payment is due in full when the order is placed, of which 20% is considered a non-refundable deposit.

Back Orders

If we are out of stock at the time you want to place an order for a system, we can take a 20% refundable deposit to back order it (applies to international orders as well). We manufacture our own systems, so a 20% deposit ensures a unit that is being built or is about to be built will be assigned to you. In general. we should be able to provide to you an expected date the system will be ready to ship or be available for you to pick up.

Custom Orders

North Star Energy Services provides free design services to assist you in determining the requirements and proper sizing of your custom solar electric power system. From small portable units of several hundred watts to systems that can supply over 10,000 watts of clean, quiet, renewable power, we can custom build it to your specifications.

Custom Orders Originating from the United States, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Canada

Custom orders require a sales contract be signed by both parties. At the time the contract is signed with North Star Energy Services, a 20% non-refundable down payment is required. When the custom system has been built an additional 50% payment is required. Finally, after the custom system has been shipped, delivered and is operating within the specifications outlined in the contract, the remaining 30% is due. The final payment is due upon receipt of the product.

Custom International Orders

Custom orders that originate from areas other than listed above also require a sales contract. The payment schedule is as follows: 40% non-refundable down payment required when contract is signed; 40% additional payment required when the custom system is ready to ship; and 20% required within 30 days after shipment is received at the final destination.

Limitations, Changes, Exclusions

North Star Energy Services, Inc. reserves the right to limit or change this policy and its terms without prior notice.

All orders are subject to this policy unless otherwise provided for in writing by North Star Energy Services, Inc. in a sales contract of other contractual document signed in good faith by both parties. Exclusions to the above policy may be made for volume purchases, large custom systems, or at the desire or need of North Star Energy Services.
